Fresh Lunches

I realize that you have may have missed a few issues of my newsletter.  I had switched to another provider, but I have returned.

In working on this newsletter, I realized that I've been sending these out for about 4 years, and  I want to thank you for the positive feedback.

Just a few days ago I was telling my wife about an exciting article that I was reading. "Leaked calcium stimulates an enzyme that eats into muscle fibers, contributing to the muscle exhaustion".

I continue to be fascinated with my choice of profession...and I hope that this love comes across in my writings and my sessions with you.

My hope for you is that you find your passion too.

With compassion,
Stephen

Nutrition
Fresh Lunches

One of my favorite fitness guys, John Berardi, has a great interview about Nutrigenomics...the study of how genes and nutrients interact.

If you'd like to learn more about how the foods we eat interact with our genes to affect our health, I encourage you to read this fascinating article.

Healthy Meal Delivery for Kids

As a parent of two kids, ages 14 and 9...I know how crazy it is to get them ready and out the door on a school day.

I also admit that even though I'm a personal trainer, it is still challenging to send them off with healthy lunches.

Well, now a company called Fresh Lunches has saved the day.  With Fresh Lunches my son Sean and I sit down the week before and choose what he will get to eat.  The choices are great, they are healthy, and most importantly he will actually eat them.

You'll need to check their website to see if they deliver to your school.

Each balanced meal includes an entre, two side options, and a drink...all for about 5 dollars.

Save time, stress, and give your kids the healthy fuel that they need.

That's all for this issue.

With compassion,
Stephen
