Woman's Day and Enchilada

3 quick things for today.

Abs and Tire Problems

I just have 2 quick things today.

The first is get your workout in early.

Most of you know that I despise running.  I really do.  I can remember when I was in junior high school and we all had to run around that dusty track.   Each time I ran I kept thinking to myself...this is such a pain, and it is sooo boring.

I went on to play a lot of baseball, but I was a catcher so I didn't have to run much.

These days it is rare that I run long distances, most of my "running" consists of sprint work.  Yesterday morning, I ran the hill near my house.  800 yards, then 400 yards backwards a couple of times and I was done in under 15 minutes.  (No, I don't have blazing speed, but I got it done!)

I mention this because as the day went on my "planning" went awry. 

I had to rent a car since mine was being serviced.  I saw some clients and then got a flat tire in the rental.  I was upset and a little hungry as I sat waiting for the tow service, but I was content in knowing that I had gotten my workout out of the way.

So my advice to you is get your workout out of the way.  There are just too many excuses as the day progresses.

If you are stuck, or just need some fresh workout routines, I suggest that you have  look at my colleagues' new abdominal plan.  I've read through the material, and seriously there is a lot of information.  Lot's and lot's of workout routines, videos, 2 day workouts, 3 day goes on and on.  He writes like I often think.  He just tells it like it is, and what has to be done.

The Whole Enchilada

Tire Throws

If you train with me you probably know what the "Power Wheel" is.  For those of you who don't know, think of the old style ab wheel, but this wheel is bigger and has Velcro straps where you can slip your feet in.

In any case, I read about a "challenge" the other day where you strap in your feet to the power wheel and "walk" the length of a football field.  You can rest, but you can't drop.

I really had no clue as to how far I could get, but I went ahead and gave it a try this morning.
